In the mid to late 1980’s, Bernie was the principal landscape architect for the major portion of Canada Olympic Park, including the Ski Jump Bowl and the Luge/Bobsled areas. After the 1988 Olympics, the project has enjoyed an extended life both a professional sport training venue and for community recreation. Additionally, the Luge/Bobsled areas include the “Husky Gardens”, which is a popular family recreation destination.
